“What was cut will not grow again.”
2023
A fictional design campaign for World vision to stop FGM in African countries and protect young girls from this procedure by advertising World Vision’s “sponsor a child”program. This project includes 3 posters, a booklet to inform people on subject and social media approach.

The sentence “My parents said I was a woman. I was still 5” represents how innocence is taken away from the girls that go through FGM. After girls go through the procedure they are considered clean and pure and ready to be married to a man. On the poster there is also more information on the procedure, an appeal to action and a QR code to take people World Vision’s website.

The booklet is meant to inform people about the procedure and about how they can help save girls from FGM. It also introduces the charity World Vision to audience and how the charity operates.
